SureFire® to develop advanced technology tactical hearing communications product SureFire, a Southern California-based manufacturer of illumination tools and tactical technology products, has acquired EarPro Communications, an audiology products developer and maker of advanced technology hearing and communications products. EarPro has shifted its headquarters to a SureFire facility and will tap into SureFire’s engineering, manufacturing and logistical expertise.

EarPro™ Introduces Sonic Defenders™ Earpieces

Exclusive EP3 Design Provides Hearing Protection While Allowing Normal Hearing EarPro™, recently acquired by SureFire LLC®, introduces a new passive hearing protection Systems, the EP-3 Sonic Defenders. Sonic Defenders are designed to help prevent hearing damage from noise above 85 dB while facilitating conversation by permitting passage of lower level sounds. The use of a proprietary design incorporating the patented Hocks Noise Breaker™ filter, enable the Sonic Defenders to convert the energy from harmful sound levels into insignificant amounts of harmless heat energy. EP3 Sonic Defenders™ are hearing protectors that lower harmful high decibel sounds yet permit users to hear lower-level sounds and conversations.
